Sausage And Egg McMuffin
Lazy Sunday breakfast food of dreams. Give this homemade sausage and egg McMuffin recipe a try!
2 free range eggs.
2 slices smoked streaky bacon.
2 pork sausages.
Sauce Shop Original BBQ Sauce.
Remove the sausage meat from the skin.
Mould this into a patty shape, as you would when making beef burgers. Make sure it's not too big to go into your muffin!
Pan fry this for around 10 minutes. The outer meat should turn a golden brown colour.
Pan fry bacon until its crispy.
Fry the egg. You can get handy metal rings here to help keep the egg into shape.
Toast the muffin - we'd do this in the pan so you can soak up some of the juices from where you cooked your sausage meat.
Liberally butter the muffin and then stick it all together. Make sure to top with our Original BBQ Sauce!
