Ketchup & BBQ Sauces

Our BBQ sauces work as a marinade, but they work best as a glaze (mid-cook) or finishing sauce.

A marinade is typically quite thin so that it can penetrate the meat. Our BBQ sauces are thick, meaning they coat meat really well, but won't penetrate as well as a thinner dedicated marinade. That's why they're better as a finishing sauce, or as a glaze, brushed onto meat throughout the cook.

If you do choose to use them as a marinade, they may caramelise quicker due to the sugar in the recipes, so it's best to cook on a lower heat for longer! To thin out the sauces, you could add a splash of a neutral-flavoured oil or citrus juice (lemon/lime).

Our ketchup is fresh, rich and actually tastes like tomatoes. It's ketchup as it should be. And it's no accident, because we use nearly twice the amount of tomatoes than the leading brand.

Almost all of the sauces in this range are suitable for vegans, with the exception of Honey Chipotle BBQ Sauce, which features lots of honey in the recipe.

Once your sauces arrive, store them in a cool, dry place. Once you've opened them, keep them refrigerated.

All these BBQ sauces and ketchups will be delivered with over 12 months' shelf life. Once opened, we suggest you use them within 12 weeks.
