A meaty, melt in your mouth sandwich that just might fall apart on your plate!
1/2 - 1 Jar of Mother Tomato Cook-In Sauce
250g of Beef or Pork Mince
150 - 200g of sliced Pepper Jack or Sharp Cheddar Cheese
1-2 - 1 whole White Onion, depending on size, finely chopped
Sliced Bread of Choice
Butter as needed
Heat skillet pan to a medium heat. Then add mince of choice and onion to pan and cook till done. Then pour half or a full jar of Mother Tomato Cook-In Sauce, depending on how messy you want it. Then allow to simmer for 5 mins.
Take a different skillet and heat to a medium heat. Then butter both sides of bread and place in the skillet, cook till toasted on one side. Then place slices of cheese onto one piece of bread, scoop some of the mince mixture onto the same slice, add more cheese, then top off with the other slice of bread.
Allow cheese to melt and bread to toast, then flip and repeat. Serve hot.
