Brown Sauce needed a makeover. Fruity and lightly spiced, a familiar flavour that's been taken up a notch. We've combined sweetness from dates with tart tamarind and the deep bitterness of Castle Rock's English Stout, Sherwood Reserve. This is your new breakfast staple... Sausages and bacon should never be without it.
We've collaborated with local award-winning brewery and pub group, Castle Rock. Recapturing the true Nottingham heritage of the Brown Sauce recipe, we've dragged Brown Sauce into the modern age by using the fantastic flavour of a dark beer brewed with intensely roasted malts and Colombian coffee beans. The result is a sauce that slams the door on greasy spoons and scribbles out pictures of government buildings.
Ingredients: Tomato Paste, Sherwood Reserve Stout (water, barley, hops, yeast, wheat, coffee), Bramley Apple, Onion, Dates, Brown Sugar, White Grape Vinegar, Tamarind, Sea Salt, Spices (contains mustard). See allergens in bold.
