We make all our products in our Nottingham-based factory, using UK produce where we can.

We started Sauce Shop in our home kitchen, fuelled by frustration with bland, mass-produced sauces.
We wanted big flavour, real ingredients, and sauces that could be the hero of every dish, so we made our own.

Most people come to us having used the same supermarket brands for years, and genuinely not expecting anything better to exist. The most common thing we hear after a first order is that they wish they'd found us sooner.
The difference starts with what's actually in the bottle. Most mainstream condiments use water as their main ingredient, then use artifical thickeners and stabilisers to build back the texture that real ingredients would have provided naturally. Our mayo has no water, no artificial thickeners, and six ingredients. That pattern repeats across the range.
Every sauce is made in our Nottingham factory using real ingredients — no artificial preservatives, no flavour shortcuts. We even ferment our own chillies for the hot sauces.
The result is something that tastes noticeably different to what's on supermarket shelves. And tends to stay in people's kitchens permanently once it does.
