We've teamed up with local Nottingham brewery Neon Raptor for our latest white label.

Based a few hundred metres across Sneinton Market from each other, we've created a beer-BBQ mash-up. At Sauce Shop we are beer lovers/nerds and have always wanted to experiment with these flavour combinations. Collaborations like this will help us push the boundaries of what sauce can be, and we're pleased to have worked with Neon Raptor to bring this first one to life.

We've used Neon Raptor's Endangered, an American Porter matured with oak, bourbon and vanilla, combined into a recipe with our signature aged chilli mash and some other familiar BBQ sauce ingredients. The result is Endangered BBQ Sauce... A super limited edition sauce with a tangy bite, rich malty notes and a gentle chilli heat.

We recommend this glazed onto ribs, tossed through pulled pork or slathered on anything smoky.

The launch of the sauce coincides with the opening of Neon Raptor's Taproom this weekend. If you're in Nottingham, head down to their new brewery in the Avenues off Sneinton Market for new creations fresh off the canning line and a chance to see the new setup!
