What is Aji Amarillo? Aji Amarillo chillies are grown in South America and are a staple of Peruvian cooking. They are said to have a "sunny" flavour, which we absolutely love! Their bright yellow colour reflects their delicious fruity flavour, which has notes of mango and pineapple. They have a mellow heat, and when combined with the freshness of yellow peppers, make a fresh tasting, highly addictive chilli jam!
This chilli jam is a great addition to a cheeseboard, but if you're making pizza, we recommend trying it with ham and pineapple, for a twist on a Hawaiian (yes, we're in the pineapple on pizza camp...).

Awesome - not too hot and full of flavour

OMG It’s a taste sensation!

I’d never tried this Amarillo Chilli Jam but I knew I was going to like it so I bought three jars and I’m so glad I did. It’s amazing. I only opened it yesterday and I’m almost through my first jar. For me, it’s like a different option to using a sweet chilli sauce. It tastes a bit fruity and sweet but has a nice spicy kick. I love it. I’ve put it on everything. I just have to figure out how to include it In a dessert and I’ll do that too. It might actually go well on some fruit, like pineapple, I’m going to give that a whirl actually. I highly recommend it and I will definitely be purchasing it again, I’ll just make sure I buy more than three jars next time. This and the Scotch Bonnet Chilli Jam are my all time favourites and I will be using regularly.

We're Pam and James and we started Sauce Shop from our home kitchen in 2014 and a local farmer's market. Our products are now stocked in over 1300 stores across the UK.

All of our products are made in small batches using all-natural ingredients. Our team is made up of around 35 people, all located in Nottingham where we make around 50,000 bottles a week!
