Bursting with juicy tomato, just the right amount of garlic and a familiar hint of herbiness. Heat and serve straight up with pasta, use as a base for meat dishes or cheat at pizza sauce!

Why "Mother Tomato"? The name of our Mother Tomato Simmer Sauce was inspired by the five "mother" sauces in classic French cookery, one of which is tomato-based.

Sauce Shop Mother Tomato is your short-cut to rich Bolognese, extra flavoursome casseroles and easy pizza bases. It can be used as a simple stir-in sauce for pasta and as a base for curries and chilli con carne.

Great flavours, competitive price, use in spaghetti bolognaise really enhances taste would definitely recommend.

Good pasta bake.

This sauce it nice, not as good as the spicy meatball sauce but it makes a good pasta bake. I just prefer a richer sauce. I think it would make a good chilli base.

We're Pam and James and we started Sauce Shop from our home kitchen in 2014 and a local farmer's market. Our products are now stocked in over 1300 stores across the UK.

Made in Nottingham

All of our products are made in small batches using all-natural ingredients. Our team is made up of around 35 people, all located in Nottingham where we make around 50,000 bottles a week!
