Why "Mother Tomato"? The name of our Mother Tomato Simmer Sauce was inspired by the five "mother" sauces in classic French cookery, one of which is tomato-based.

I placed my first order with Sauce Shop and had issues with processing my order online. I reached out to customer services and they sorted the issues immediately and re-sent my order straight away. Great flavours, competitive price, use in spaghetti bolognaise really enhances taste would definitely recommend.
This sauce it nice, not as good as the spicy meatball sauce but it makes a good pasta bake. I just prefer a richer sauce. I think it would make a good chilli base.
This is my go to sauce for any type of pasta dish, rich and spicy and tastes like home made! (I did admit it was Sauce Shop - honest!!)
