Sauce Shop meets Chef James Cochran. Get ready for tonnes of heat and flavour. This is jam hot! From James' mum's Caribbean kitchen to helping him win BBC's Great British Menu, this chilli jam has been a lifetime in the making. 

Scotch Bonnet peppers, red chillies and tomato make this no ordinary chilli jam. We put it on everything... especially fried chicken.

After a chance meeting between two James's - James (Sauce Shop) and chef James Cochran, a partnership was formed and the our jam was born.

Now a long-time friend of Sauce Shop, James Cochran started cooking after being inspired by his mum. After featuring the jam as part of his Champion of Champions winning dish on BBC's Great British Menu, James set his sights on bringing the jam to market. James and the team at Sauce Shop worked together to perfect the jam as it is today - the perfect combination of sweet and hot, with the fruity flavour of Scotch Bonnets, which have been charred to add an extra dimension.

Try it as James serves it, with fried chicken. We love it in a grilled cheese sandwich or on pizza.

Very pleasant

A nice flavour and it wasn't too sweet and jammy just sweet enough. I thought it was very approachable and easy going. I personally would have liked a bit more heat and the fruity flavour of scotch bonnets to shine a bit more. I would order it again as it's good with almost anything.

I’ve been buying this for a while now. I absolutely love it. I put it on loads of things but I really like using it on my homemade chicken burgers with cheese, hash browns etc and it’s the closest I can get to it tasting like a zinger tower burger. It’s perfect. I’ve tried loads of chilli jams and sauces but this is spot on for my taste and what I use it for. It has a really good spicy kick but it’s not just heat it’s very flavourful too. I only discovered Sauce Shop in 2021 but I’ve loved every single sauce I’ve tried. The quality it exceptional and the flavours are second to none. I cannot recommend their products highly enough, you must try them, you will not be disappointed. Don’t forget to try the Amarillo Chilli Jam too. It’s gorgeous and goes with everything.

We're Pam and James and we started Sauce Shop from our home kitchen in 2014 and a local farmer's market. Our products are now stocked in over 1300 stores across the UK.

Made in Nottingham

All of our products are made in small batches using all-natural ingredients. Our team is made up of around 35 people, all located in Nottingham where we make around 50,000 bottles a week!
