We wanted to create the ultimate spicy pasta sauce and what better ingredient to add that kick than our in-house barrel aged jalapenos. They give this sauce a distinctively fruity chilli hit - perfect paired with juicy meatballs and melty cheese!

We barrel age our jalapenos to get that complex fruity flavour that makes our Spicy Marinara Simmer Sauce so tasty. Lacto-fermenting our chillies (the same process used to make sauerkraut) gives an amazing depth of flavour that other hot sauces just don't have.

Forget everything you know about cooking sauces, your ticket to an easy meal is in this jar! Made the Sauce Shop way... in small batches, by hand, using nothing artificial.

If you love a little spice in your ragu…

I’ve always liked to add a little chili spice to a ragu, using chili flakes or chili oil. With this sauce the job is already done! Perfect for me, made fantastic meatball marinara, but might be too spicy for some.

What a cracking sauce!!

I have purchased this a few times now as it goes down a treat mixed with chicken, chorizo and pasta, with loads of mozzarella. I couldn't recommend this enough!

We're Pam and James and we started Sauce Shop from our home kitchen in 2014 and a local farmer's market. Our products are now stocked in over 1300 stores across the UK.

Made in Nottingham

All of our products are made in small batches using all-natural ingredients. Our team is made up of around 35 people, all located in Nottingham where we make around 50,000 bottles a week!
