The first bottles of Original Hot Sauce were crafted in James and Pam's kitchen many moons ago. They had wanted to create a banging hot sauce that would go on everything, that didn't contain anything artificial.
Sauce Shop Original Hot Sauce only contains four ingredients... jalapeños, vinegar, salt and garlic. Nothing but flavour here, with no starches or gums in sight.
We barrel age our jalapenos to get that complex fruity flavour that makes our Original Hot Sauce so tasty. Lacto-fermenting our chillies (the same process used to make sauerkraut) gives an amazing depth of flavour that other hot sauces just don't have.
